Workshop Facilitation: turning brainstorms into breakthroughs, and making sure everyone’s coffee cup is always full!

UX Workshops & Cross-Border Integration for Public Sector: making sure your ideas travel well—passport and all!

As part of my work for the Public Sector Germany, I conducted UX workshops both online and in-person to shape app development and cross-border integration strategies.

  • Online: I led Miro-based UX workshops with the EU, representing the German Government in discussions on user interface integration across borders. These sessions focused on aligning different nations’ design standards, regulations, and user needs to ensure a seamless experience.
  • In-Person: I facilitated workshops with technical and business stakeholders, guiding them through creative design thinking methods to define the user journey for the app. These sessions helped bridge the gap between business goals, technical feasibility, and user expectations.

Through these efforts, I played a key role in creating a user-centered framework for cross-border digital services.

Defining the Vision for a Wellbeing Startup App: because everyone deserves an app that makes them feel zen, not confused!

Working with a health tech startup, I translated their business vision into a structured product roadmap. This involved:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their long-term business goals and desired user experience.
  • Mapping their vision into storyboards, epics, and initial wireframes, creating the meta journey that would guide future development.
  • Establishing a design foundation that balanced innovation, feasibility, and user needs, ensuring their business model was reflected in the app’s core experience.
  • Personas: To support these discussions, I developed personas that reflected different types of users interacting with the app across borders. These personas helped stakeholders understand diverse user needs, pain points, and behavioral patterns, leading to more informed design decisions.

This early-stage UX work set the groundwork for a scalable and user-friendly health app, aligning both strategic and design goals.

Experimental UX Workshops on Cyber Security & Big Data

At a Cyber Security Software Company, I worked on experimental internal workshops focused on security and big data. To push the boundaries of technical UX thinking, I:

  • Collaborated with technical engineers to explore new user cases using gamestorming techniques.
  • Led sessions to decipher the implications of big data and personal data protection for non-technical end users—helping engineers translate complex security concepts into intuitive user experiences.
  • Encouraged cross-disciplinary idea generation and iteration, fostering innovation in data security UX.

These workshops helped redefine how security concepts could be made accessible to everyday users, ensuring a balance between technical depth and user-centricity.
